The WPA tours are filled with historical trivia, such as the story of two brothers, Robert and Alfred Taylor, who ran against each other for governor. Tour stops include Bristol, King College, Rocky Mount, Blountville, the site of Fort Robinson and Fort Patrick Henry, Rotherwood, Mountain City, Hampton, Elizabethton, the Landon Carter Mansion, Sycamore Shoals Monument, Johnson City, and Erwin.
The WPA section also includes about six pages on Kingsport, including Points of Interest, such as the Kingsport Press, the Netherland Inn (with picture) and the Long Island of the Holston.
