    Description
From an estate, a scarcer 1621 small silver coin of Saxe Weimar - see condition above. This is from lot 115 of the John Quincy Adams sale (Stacks, September 1971) purchased by old time world coin dealer Christian Blom. Chris sold it to Mendel Peterson of the Smithsonian Institution who sold it to me in 1996. A seldom seen old Saxon coin, it has an interesting provenance. Still unsure (?), see my feedback. Free fully insured shipping to the USA. .99 uninsured shipping to countries I ship to, with proof of mailing - I no longer ship to Italy or mainland China (just too many "lost packages").   I have been in this business for 50+ years and have thousands of positive feedbacks dating back to 1998, bid with confidence.  If paypal is a problem let me know and we'll work something out.  I combine lots to save shipping costs, thank you for looking & good luck.   cbmpgb
    Payment
Paypal is ok, as are other forms of payment (inquire).  If you need a little time to pay, please let me know up front so I won't file a non-payment claim against you.
    Shipping
Shipping costs are generally in the lot description. I use a secure "Safety Mailer" to ship a small number of coins, and a larger padded envelope or priority flat rate boxes for quantity lots. I don't gouge on shipping but I charge a wee bit over the actual postage to cover these costs and cover the 13.5% commission that eBay and PayPal charge me for shipping. I sometimes refund some shipping in cash if I can (if I like your profile & feedback).. I sometimes ship to countries not listed, please email me to confirm.
    Terms of Sale
We would all like to be paid a nanosecond after the auction closes, however if you need a little time let me know. If you would like to wait after winning a lot & combine it with an upcoming lot (saves shipping) let me know. If you want to pick up lots locally (and save shipping) let me know. I accept alternative payment venues to Paypal & sometimes share the savings, email if you need to. I am easy to do business with - I make any mistakes or errors good.
Unfortunately I block bidders that I feel uncomfortable doing business with (unfair feedback, unreasonable returns, fraudulant undelivered lot claims, ect.).
I share blocked bidder lists with other dealers.
    About Us
I turn 74 years young this year (2016) and have been a coin & precious metals dealer in the Washington, D.C. area since 1967 (I joined the ANA that year, # 59598). Until recently, I had an office at Trojan Antiques in Old Town Alexandria, Va. - the owner died suddenly and the store is now closed. My friends at The Antique Guild - a really interesting shop @ 113 North Fairfax St. are letting me meet clients there on Saturdays on an appointment basis. Trade & bank references are available on request. If you are seriously interested in coins, currency, et al have a peek at The Numismatic Bibliomania Society website (voted the Best on the Web). Click on the e-sylum (e-newsletter) and the current edition (it's published weekly). Heady, interesting reading - you might even find contributions from yours truly from time to time.
