With all the potential for leaks throughout the cooling system, you need know the parts you’re replacing are correct. This makes for a fast, timely diagnosis and repair.  This kit will effectively seal the EGR coolers to allow a pressure test of the cooling system with the engine running to identify and isolate leaks. This is especially helpful on engines with cracked cylinder heads that don't leak unless combustion heat and pressure is applied to the fracture.
-This will quickly tell you if your coolant loss is in the EGR system, an external leak, or a cracked cylinder head with minimal disassembly of the engine.
