    The vital statistics: one 1865 German States - Schaumburg-Lippe Vereinsthaler coin, KM# 47, silver (0.900), 18.52 g (0.653 oz.) weight, actual silver weight 0.5359 troy oz., 32.5 mm (1.28 in.) diameter.
    This coin is in extremely fine condition.  Fine details of the coin's designs are crisp and sharp.  Only the highest surfaces of the coin's designs show evidence of gentle wear.  The coin does appear to have been cleaned in the past.  Residues in and around the letters in the obverse legend, for example, strongly suggest that this is the case.  The three pairs of images were all taken in more or less the same location, under similar lighting conditions.  The differences in the images are largely due to the different backgrounds.
