Description
1727 4 schilling from the German state of Hamburg. The obverse show a castle with turrets/towers in the upper center inside and open wreath. Below that, inside a circle is the denomination shown a IIII SCHILL.The legend around the border shows HAMBURGER.CURRENT.1727. Detail is still visible in the castle structure. The reverse shows the crowned, double headed eagle, with a sword in on claw and a branch in the other. The legend shows CAROLUS.VI.D.G.RON.IMP.SEMP.AVG. Nice original uncleaned silver and grays color coin, with a lot of detail and no significant marks. Approx. 24 mm diameter.
